Generally, a grammar lesson can be divided into three stages: Presentation, Practice, and Production, better known as 3 Ps. One of the best ways of helping students to reach the objectives of the lesson is to well introduce the grammatical structure in the first stage: this is the Presentation stage. Then, students should be given various activities to practice the new lesson: this is the Practice stage. Lastly, they need time to use the new grammatical structure in their own sentences in order to communicate with each other: this is the Production stage. We are going to follow these three steps to teach conditional sentences.
