   Call to order
   

Tim Smith called to order the Annual Dinner meeting of the United Way of Putnam County at 5:45 on May 26, 2016 at the Best Western Inn of Palatka, East Palatka.

2. 
   Roll call
   

Blythe Byrd noted all present.    Welcome
   

Tim Smith welcomed guest. Girl Scout Troop 1314 performed the flag ceremony. Karl Flagg conducted the Invocation. Guests were invited to eat. Food was provided by Klassy Koncessions.

   Campaign Report
   

Tim Smith guided everyone to the message by Malcolm Fabre (Campaign Chair) in the Annual Report due to the unfortunate absence of Malcolm. See attached report.

5. 
   Allocations Report
   

Tim Smith once again guided everyone to the message by Don Jacobovitz (Allocations Chair) in the Annual Report due to the unfortunate absence of Don. See attached report.

6. 
   Financial Update
   

Tim Smith introduced Kerry Rowell as the Interim Treasurer who is standing in for the Treasurer, Kathy Jorgensen, in her absence. Kerry shared the overall financial position for the 2015-2016 year. Please see attached.

   Key Note Speaker
   

Tim Smith introduced the Key Note Speaker. Lauryn Alexis Collier, the reigning 2016 National Reigning Miss Florida, spoke about her commitment to United Way and how impressed she was with all of the achievements of United Way of Putnam County. She stated that she wanted to help out in any way possible. Please see attached blurb.

   Awards
   

Blythe Byrd presented Janet Martin the Volunteer of the Year Award. Tim Smith presented Vernon and Linda Myers, as well as Charley and Fran Myers, with Life Time Achievement Awards.

9. 
   President’s Message
   

Tim Smith lamented the difficult time that several of our Executive Board members had suffered with health and family issues over the past year. He asked for good thoughts for Malcolm and Kathy who were working through quite a bit, as well as wishing Don well in his new job. He welcomed the new Executive Board members Anne Allen (Pres), Janette Wagner (Campaign), and Sam Deputy (Allocations) that were motioned by Bud and seconded by Tim to be passed unanimously. He thanked Kathy for maintaining her position as Treasurer. He stated that he was looking forward to a great 25^th year for the United Way of Putnam County.

    Raffle
    

St. Vincent DePaul Society volunteers raffled off three baskets to guests.

    Adjournment
    

Tim Smith adjourned the meeting at 7:45.
