Unit 1 Our family is big

Activity 5 Play "Funny dictation". 

 

Objective: 

to consolidate the simple, comparative and superlative degrees of adjectives with the types of transport 

STEP 1: 

Ask the pupils to open their Workbooks at Page 62 and look at Activity 5. 

STEP 2: 

Say that you will dictate a text. Some words will be missed - instead of the words you can whistle or knock. 

The pupils must guess and write the words. In order to help the pupils you can put the pictures on the board, e.g. 

horse, train, plane. 

Dictation: 

Horses are (whistle). Trains are (whistle). Planes are the (whistle). 

Check their answers. Ask the pupils to read in chorus - 

Horses are fast. Trains are faster. Planes are the fastest. 

Homework 

Ask the pupils to open their Workbooks at Page 62 and look at Homework. Explain that they must do the crossword 

at home. Say that the pictures can help them write the words.
