AWD system _ This system automatically senses slippery or unstable driving 

conditions that even the driver may not detect and proactively balances power 

between the front and rear wheels to ensure stability at all times.

AWD + LSD intergrated control system _ This system controls 

the All Wheel Drive (AWD) transfer in tandem with the left/right 

traction control of the Limited Slip Differential (LSD), improving 

driving performance during turns. It also allows the driver to 

drift around corners.

Electronically controlled suspension _ Depending on the drive mode selected  

by the driver, this function adjusts the damping levels of the shock absorber. 

COMFORT offers stability befitting a luxury sedan, SPORT provides a dynamic and 

reliable ride, and SPORT+ offers seamless unity with the road surface.

8-speed automatic transmission / Shift-by-wire (SBW) _  

The 2nd-generation rear-wheel 8-speed electronic automatic 

transmission achieves optimal efficiency, rendering  

a sophisticated response and smooth transmission. The electronic 

shift-by-wire lever is light and compact, and a cushioned 

finish on the top of the knob offers a luxurious grip. 

10-airbag system _ A total of 10 airbags are installed, including 

a center side airbag between the front occupants to mitigate 

impact with each other or with interior materials. Advanced 

airbags in the driver and front passenger seats are deployed 

after sensing the severity of the impact and the presence of 

other passengers, while front and rear side-curtain airbags and 

driver’s knee airbags protect passengers against collisions.

12.3″ 3D cluster _ The wide, high-resolution 3D cluster provides 

differentiated designs and content visuals for each drive mode, 

including the new Sport+ mode. The cluster’s embedded 

camera tracks the driver’s eye movements to provide vivid 3D

Drive mode control system _ Drivers can switch between Eco, 

Comfort, Sport, Sport+ or Custom driving modes according to 

personal preferences or driving conditions. Drivers can choose 

from a comfortable and fuel efficient ride to a high-performance

maximizes acceleration and responsiveness.

Brembo brakes _ These sophisticated and high-performance 

brakes are applied to secure GENESIS G70’s superior driving 

performance and differentiated image as a sports sedan.

Variable exhaust muffler _ GENESIS G70’s exhaust sound can 

vary depending on the drive mode (Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+) 

selected by the driver. The sound is aligned with the accelerator’s 

opening of the throttle, creating an exhaust note that best matches 

the driver’s performance preference. It also has the effect of 

providing an extra 3PS of horsepower.

Head-Up Display (HUD) _ Vehicle information is projected on 

the front windshield with optimized brightness for excellent

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system (junction 

turning) _ This system helps to automatically bring the vehicle 

to a stop when there is a risk of collision with another vehicle, 

cyclist or pedestrian that suddenly appears or stops ahead.  

It may also help bring the vehicle to a stop when there is a risk 

of collision with an approaching vehicle when making a left 

turn at an intersection.

Blind-Spot View Monitor (BVM) system _ When the turn signals 

are activated to change lanes, video images on the center 

cluster show larger areas of the respective side/rear of  

the vehicle than the side-view mirrors to assist safe driving.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) system _ This 

system alerts the driver of approaching vehicles in the blind 

spot area when the driver activates the turn signals to change 

lanes or when the vehicle is exiting a parallel parking spot.  

If the risk increases even after the warning, the system helps 

to automatically stop the vehicle to avoid a potential collision.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW) system _ A comprehensive 

system that analyzes driving patterns of the driver and  

the vehicle’s position in the lane to assist in safe driving.  

It posts messages on the cluster and sets off warning signals 

to encourage the driver to rest when it detects inattentive 

driving.

Intelligent Front-Lighting System (IFS) _ This system 

automatically activates or deactivates part of the high beam 

lights when it detects an oncoming vehicle or a vehicle 

ahead, to prevent glare for drivers of other vehicles.  

This supports safer driving at night as the high beam lights 

don’t have to be adjusted manually.

Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) system _ This system alerts the driver 

if the vehicle leaves the lane while driving over a certain 

speed and without the use of the turn signals. LKA may also 

apply steering wheel control if the vehicle leaves the lane.

Lane Following Assist (LFA) system _ This helps assist steering 

to keep the vehicle centered in its current lane.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) system _ Pressing the drive assist 

button while driving activates this function, which helps to 

maintain a set speed while keeping a safe distance from  

the car ahead. The vehicle will automatically stop if the car  

in front stops, then automatically restart if the car in front 

departs shortly. If there is a long time lapse, stepping on  

the accelerator or pressing the button will restart the vehicle.

Reverse guiding lamps _ When in reverse, these LED lights are 

angled to illuminate the ground behind the vehicle, allowing 

pedestrians and other vehicles to easily notice the reversing 

vehicle.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) system _ 

When driving on a highway or expressway with smart cruise 

control enabled, this system appropriately reduces the speed 

when entering low speed limit zones and curved sections 

based on the road data provided by the GPS system.  

After safely passing such sections, the speed automatically 

returns to the previously set speed.

Surround View Monitor (SVM) system _ Video images of the area 

surrounding the vehicle can be viewed to assist in safe parking.

Safe Exit Warning (SEW) system _ This system detects vehicles

approaching from the rear and cautions passengers about to

open the door to exit the vehicle.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA) system _ 

This system alerts the driver if a collision risk is detected from 

the left and right sides of the vehicle while reversing. If the risk 

increases even after the warning, RCCA helps to stop the vehicle.

Highway Driving Assist (HDA) system _ While on the highway, 

this system helps the vehicle maintain its speed and stay 

centered in the lane by utilizing comprehensive information 

such as the distance of the car ahead, lane information and 

speed limits provided by the GPS. It assists braking, acceleration 

and steering when driving long distances or on congested 

roads, ensuring a comfortable ride.

Rear occupant alert _ This system recognizes the opening & 

closing of the rear doors to alert the driver of rear occupants 

when exiting the vehicle. Warnings are given when the driver 

turns off the engine and opens the driver-side door.

Built-in camera _ High-definition cameras mounted on the 

front and rear of the vehicle allow you to check the vehicle’s 

surroundings via the infotainment display screen and on a 

smartphone. Video images can be viewed real-time, saved,

Intelligent driver’s seat _ Electrically adjustable driver seat 

including lumbar support, cushion extension and seatback 

bolster optimizes seat adjustments to conform to the driver’s

speakers with the latest Quantum Logic surround sound technology
