In recent years, Uzbekistan, as a reliable partner of Indonesia, has carried out large-scale reforms in various areas. In particular, as a result of mutual cooperation between our countries, great results have been achieved in the field of tourism, as a result of which the visa regime between our countries has been abolished. Indonesians know Uzbekistan as a country that has made a great contribution to Islamic civilization. Uzbekistan is the birthplace of Imam Bukhari, Moturidi, Naqshbandi and a number of other world famous scientists. Undoubtedly, Uzbekistan is one of the centers of Islamic civilization, the heart of Central Asia, personifying history and the future.
President Sukarno occupies a special place in Uzbek-Indonesian relations. Until now, cooperation between our countries is developing dynamically. I am sure that with our mutual cooperation, trust and efforts, relations between Uzbekistan and Indonesia will continue to develop in the interests of both peoples.
Indonesia also accounts for foreign tourist visits and international tourism revenues. It is one of the leading countries in East Asia. The development of the tourism market in Indonesia is a global information tourism continues to be inextricably linked with development. Global importance any scientific and technological changes and developments in tourism determines the present and future of the economy.
The efforts of Uzbekistan and Indonesia to develop mutual tourism are commendable. It should be noted that the two countries have signed a number of agreements on tourism. Student exchanges between countries have also been established.
