Proposals for graduation practice and work for 3rd year students of the Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent
1. Pre-diploma practice, which allows you to get 10 credit scores, is carried out on condition of participation within 24 days in production, design, testing enterprises corresponding to the specialty determined by the place of residence of the student or university.
2. During the practice, the student collects information for the final project work, gets acquainted with the necessary calculations, drawings, maps, codes of technological processes, as well as the corresponding structures, technological processes and collects material.
3. Students who have received the appropriate credit score at the last examination session are given a period of one month, during which the student must form a final project work and defend it at a meeting of the commission.
4. The final project work should consist of at least 30 pages of explanatory notes, drawings and technological diagrams, introductory part, information about the enterprise, designs for an individual task, descriptions of technologies, the chosen structure, design, justification of technology, its calculations.
5. Direct copying from Wikipedia and similar sources into the final project work is prohibited, plagiarism is checked.
6. The student is assigned to the department teacher for 10-20 hours supervision, and one teacher is not allowed to supervise more than 200 hours of final project work.
7. The defense of the final project work is assessed by a commission formed by the department or university, with the participation of at least one member from the manufacturing enterprise.
8. The assessment of the final project work is carried out by the members of the commission in an open mode, in the absence of a positive assessment, the student does not participate in the defense for at least 6 months.
9. The final grade is determined on a scale from 0 to 3. The grade is determined by the commission based on the student's work, his / her discussion skills and the supervisor's assessment (the supervisor offers an assessment primarily based on the student's ability to develop himself sufficiently, as well as on how difficult it is). Evaluation is awarded according to the following evaluation criteria: 3 - very good (definitely above average, corresponding to the top 10%) 2 - good (average good work) 1 - very good 0 - if the course is a weak dissertation, the diploma committee may reject the work ( it is scored as “unsuccessful”) and asks the student to repeat the final exam.
10. Students must submit applications in advance on the website edu.polito.uz (terms are negotiated at each examination session), indicate the topic of the final project work approved by the supervisor, the name of the supervisor, place of work.
