Connection of the theme of dissertation with the scientific-research works 
of the higher educational institution, where the dissertation is conducted. 
The 
thesis is executed within the scientific and practical project realized in the 
Karakalpak branch of the Uzbek research institute of pedagogical sciences 
according to scientific and technical programs: I1-HT-0-17222 - "Use of potential 
of national pedagogics in introduction by the pupil youth of the Karakalpak 
national mentality". 
The purpose of researches 
is definition of the priority directions of 
development of a pedagogical thought in Karakalpakstan in the second half of XX 
and at the beginning of the 21st century and improvement of mechanisms of 
introduction of the best pedagogical practices in system of continuous education. 
The tasks of the research: 
To prove value of reforms in education in Karakalpakstan in the second half 
of the 20th century – the 21st century - as social factor; 
To the priority directions of development and a comparative typology of 
development of a pedagogical thought in Karakalpakstan in days of independence; 
To determine indicators of development of a pedagogical thought in 
Karakalpakstan in days of independence and to estimate efficiency of education; 
To develop organizational and structural model of development of a 
pedagogical thought in Karakalpakstan in the second half of the 20th century – the 
beginning of the 21st century and to determine the perspective directions. 
To develop the scientifically proved offers and recommendations by 
definition of perspective directions of development of a pedagogical idea in 
Karakalpakstan. 
The object of the research 
is development of a pedagogical thought in 
Karakalpakstan in the second half of the 20th century – the beginning of the 21st
