THE WORLD.

Annotation: Uzbek traditions and customs, their application in fiction. Traditions in the works
and their interpretation and scientific views on it.
Keywords: Uzbek traditions, myth, bread grandeur, gift, curse, trade etiquette.
The word is such a spiritual world, it is a pearl that touches the emotions of humanity, the
realization of dreams and hopes for the future. The Uzbek language is one of the brightest
colours of this gem. This language is also an expression of the evolution of the nation’s clergy,
its traditions. Uzbek traditions are not found in any other nation. Traditions such as tolerance,
hospitality, bridal etiquette, love between relatives, courtship also serve to create the brightest
examples of Uzbek literature. The best work about mothers - Utkir Hoshimov’s story «The
affairs of the world» also gives a special charm to Uzbek traditions. We will try to explain some
of these.
Bread has risen to the level of the image in Uzbek literature. Bread is very sacred for the
Uzbek people, it can not be disrespected everywhere, even a piece of bread. That is why the
Uzbek proverb «Bread is bread, bread is bread» did not appear in vain. These values are presented
in the story “The Greatest Sin” as a painful cry from the mother tongue when a child throws
bread: “Bread, this is it! It will be a sin. In the story «Emon grandad’s wish» another tradition
is described through the image of bread. For those who have gone on a long journey or for war,
the bread is hung on the wall until the person returns. This custom is exemplified by the image
of the Sixties.
The tradition of betrothal has existed among the Uzbek people for a long time, in which future
brides are related by asking for seven pussies. The story of «Sovchi» tells the story of the same
tradition. The following statement by the image of the father is a clear reflection of this: «It is
like an unripe trade when there is a madman in his generation.»
Cursing is also an ancient custom, which determines the ethnic stages of the national way of
life, customs and cultural level of each nation. A curse is a person’s longing for evil. The same
thing is reflected in the story of «Pistachi»: the mother is angry with the image of Dalavoy: in
this world « Iloya should be forced to cry baby in the house. Dalavoy, who received this curse,
will be childless for the rest of his life.
Tradition and myth are interpreted by some as a single concept. However, in our opinion,
there are differences in meaning and logic in these concepts. Tradition differs from superstition
in that it is inherited from ancestors or is directed to good.
Superstitions are made to protect people, their relatives and families from evil. It is done to
harm other people, to do good to their behaviour and attitudes, and to harm them. The Uzbek
people have such superstitions that other nations do not have this peculiarity. One of the rules
is that a person who brings cattle, sheep, cows and horses to the market should not give the
buyer a rope tied to an animal.
The story of “Bazar” is vividly reflected in the native language: “Woe to us, we gave the Goat
with a rope! It will be bad, you can’t sell cattle with a rope. ”
The same story reflects another Uzbek tradition. Do not lie in trade in the market. It is said
in the Qobusnama: «Religion is to lie in trade, and it is a very bad thing to lie in trade between
a disbeliever and a Muslim.» In the story «Bazaar» a man who bought a goat cheaply because
his child was sick is strongly condemned.
So traditions live together with the nation. They are an important part of the nation. Traditions
call people to goodness, educate them, strengthen humanity. The artist who captures the life
of the people, of course, describes it along with its traditions. Utkir Hoshimov also played an
important role in the story «World Affairs». It is no coincidence that the Uzbek people, with
their traditions, are of interest to other peoples.
