Topic Question: "How does technology affect the development of youth?"

Local issue: Students in Nukus are no longer interested in education because they feel that they can learn what they want online.
Global issue: The lives of youth around the globe are being consumed by technology.
Topic Question: “How does technology affect the development of youth?”
Perspectives: Students, teachers, country’s government, school (administration), technological appliance companies, (school) psychologist, doctor.
As a whole, I believe the group worked well together. Each group member did their share of the work. While working with our group, first it was hard to choose one topic, because everyone wanted different things. Then after days of thinking, we decided to choose “Technology and lifestyles”. We found the topic question and issue related to our topic. I did my presentation from the perspective of government.
Using technology has its advantages and disadvantages. Technology has more advantages for the government from technology companies. Because they manufacture any type of technology device and smartphone applications. Of course, they get a big profit by selling them all around the world. The government will receive more money from taxes due to the technology company seeing more profit. Especially nowadays, almost all people use technology. This became an unavoidable thing in our lives. The benefit is not just for the government, also the country. Because technology is being exported or imported from taxes.
If students can learn how to use technology well at school in their future careers they will be able to do most of their work digitally and decrease paperwork. if students use a lot of technology, they will live like this in the future, and I like that.
On the other hand, therefore, impacts of technology for youth, as you know students use more technologies like phones, computers that are dangerous to health their health will decline and this will affect the health status of the country. Another disadvantage is students can learn everything from the internet. One of the bad things is cybercrime. people commit cybercrime by spending a lot of time on the internet. People engage in hacking, phishing to exploit other people’s personal belongings over the internet.
However, using technology every day is something unavoidable. The students are the main ones who are suffering from this issue. Because they use technology in the wrong way. Recent research showed that almost half of the students in one classroom were being disturbed by the non-educational use of technologies. Nevertheless, some students think that technology is the best way of learning in modern life since they can find any necessary information just by searching on the internet.
My solution includes:
Students usually use social media in the wrong way and more students watch interesting videos which are not about education. So that the government organizes educational competitions among the teachers. For example, teachers create educational videos and upload them to social apps (like youtube). The government will give prizes to the winning teachers. As a result that students watch more useful videos and do not waste their time.
Another solution is the government can partially ban/block social media apps and restrict access by age.
In our country, the tiktok is blocked, so students do not spend more time on social networks. Or the other way is the age restriction or age limit. for example, children under the age of 16 cannot use the telephone. Through which parents can monitor their children. Parents can impose any restrictions on their children.
By doing all of this researches, I learned many new things. Especially, the method that countries, which have internet issues use. A small kind of wi-fi modem is used to connect to the internet. This modem contains just the resources that were entered by the teacher or administration of the school.
After doing research, my perspective changed. Before I used to the thought that technology cannot help students to study. Nevertheless, after research, I found a lot of useful sites on the internet and even on social media, which helps students. I started avoiding myself from social media and started spending less time on them. This helped me a lot since I had more time to study and do my projects
