Topic : The role of foreign investment in the development of economy

Business entities exempted from the payment of above-mentioned taxes in the amount of invested foreign direct investment:

• 3 million euros to 10 million euros for a period of 7 years;
• 10 million euros to 30 million euros for a period of 10 years. In the next 5 years the rates of income tax and single tax for small businesses shall be fixed at 50% below current rates;
• More than 30 million euros for a period of 15 years. In the next 10 years the rates of income tax and single tax for small businesses shall be fixed at 50% below current rates.
• Also under this Decree established special customs and currency regimes.

In purpose of the stimulation foreign investor in economy of the republic of Uzbekistan and activation investment activity, necessary to provide the decision of the following questions:

• - creating an attractive tax legislation;
• - creating a favorable investment environment to attract foreign investment;
• - making the efficient system of the investment lending;
• - liberalization of currency and credit relations;
• - creating the efficient system of motivation and stimulus for reinvestments;
• - developing secondary bond market and accommodation of the shares of the major companies and enterprises on international stock markets;
• - an expansion import-substituting and export-oriented production by attracting foreign loans and investments.
