1. Organizational moment.
Teacher: Good morning pupils. What is the date today?
What is the weather like today?
Warm up
Teacher: Let’s begin our lesson with the song.
2.Revising some phrases and words from the last lesson.
Questions:
What was your homework for today?
What was our lesson about?
What does the word “harvest, crafts, entertainment mean?
What is “Apple Day”?
What do people do in this festival?
3. Introducing the new theme
Teacher: Health is the greatest wealth. We always should not forget about this and try to keep our health. If we are healthy, then we can achieve all our future dreams. Today you are going to learn the parts of body, how to express when you feel a pain by listening tasks and showing the scene called « At the doctor».
For going on this lesson I divide the class in 2 teams called “ Healthy” and “Wealthy” . But first all, I would like to find out the proverbs which you know about health.
Telling the proverbs about health
Teacher: Now look at the blackboard. Here you can see today’s new words and their pictures. Look attentively and repeat after me.
Repeating after the teacher and matching them
Reinforcement of the theme with playing the game « Simon says »:
-Simon says « Put your finger on your knee»
-Simon says « Put your hands on your head»
- Put your finger on your knee…
To practice listening for gists and specific information:

Answering the questions and filling in gaps.
Explaining the grammar rule:
« Have got » egalik ma’nosini anglatishi bilan bir qatorda kasallik va og’riqlarni ifodalash uchun qo’llaniladi. Masalan: I have got a cold. I have got a headache. She has got a stomachache kabi.
Kasallik nomlari odatda sanalmaydi. Ba’zi keng tarqalgan kasalliklar nomi oldida « the» aniq artikli ishlatilishi mumkin. Masalan: the measles, the flu.
Boshqa kasallik nomlari artiklsiz ishlatiladi. Masalan: He has got toothache.
Ayrim kasalliklar oldidan «a» noaniq artikli ishlatiladi.Masalan: I have got a cold, a headache, a stomachache.
Reinforcement the rule with making up sentences.
Pupils: I have got a pain in my head.
I have got a pain in my hand.
I have got a pain in my stomach.
I have got a pain in my wrist.
Singing a song about health.
Explaining the modal verb
Should + do something maslahat berish uchun ishlatiladi:
If you have got a pain in your head, you should go to the doctor.
You should not eat much at night.
You should always do your homework.
Showing the scene “ At the doctor»
Situation. You have come to visit a doctor. You have a sore throat and want the doctor to help you.
P: Good morning!
D: Good morning! Come in! Sit down, please! What's the matter?
P: I've got a sore throat and a headache.
D: Have you got a temperature?
P: Yes, I have got.
D: Open your mouth. I want to look at your throat. Oh, it looks sore.
D: Can you give me pills?
Р: An injection is better than pills.
D: Will I recover, doctor?
P: Yes. If you rest today.
D: Thank you, doctor. Good-bye.
P: Good-bye.
4. Debate “While – Activity”
The teacher divides pupils into 2 groups using “Choose thesun-beam” activity and divides the groups. The divided groups get their names. Group 1 is Health. Group 2 is Wealth.
The teacher explains to the divided groups that they are going to have a competition in filling the gap quickly choosing the right form of the modal verb «should» or «shoud not» for being healthy and gives them the cards and 8 minutes to discuss the task. After the discussion in groups pupils put the cards in the correct places - around the different faces as the sun on the blackboard.
At the end of the competition teacher makes a conclusion. She checks the sun-beams. The faces as the sun and sun-beams show pupils’ opinions about bad and good habits for being healthy.
5. Revising activity. Remember
Explaining the rule about the silent letters in «wrist», « knee», « thumb», « tongue» and the pronunciation of «сh» as «k» in stomach.
7. Estimating and giving homework
