Through this topic, pupils learned what a portfolio is. This topic is covered in the 5th grade textbook. Pupils also learned what to do in the portfolio preparation process, how to write a portfolio, and that this is a very useful thing to reinforce the topics covered. Various pictures were also used in the process of preparing the portfolio, which aroused more interest among the students. The portfolio strengthens students’ knowledge and improves their memory as the student prepares it based on the topics covered and this helps them to remember the lesson once again. After each of the five topics, students prepare a portfolio, thereby consolidating their knowledge and repeating what they have learned. Repetition of topics is very useful in learning a foreign language.
