Actuality of the theme. Actual character is based on the thesis that to research the works of K.Buckley on satire. Plus this to learn more about satire and its influene on politics. Christopher Buckley’ novels shows his ingenuity, sagacity and capability of writing politically with ease.

The tasks and aims of the work.

Before the beginning of writing of our course work we set the following tasks and aims beforouourselves:

1. To investigate the peculiarities of satirical novels of Buckley and their difference from others’ works.

2. To analyze the moral value of the novels of him.

3. To research current scene of satirical novels by Christopher Buckley.

4. To analyze the ingenuity of the novel “Thank you for smoking”.
