The novelty of the work.

The novelty of the work is considered to be that “Thank you for smoking” gets people talking, the multi award winning film adaptation, starring Aaron Eckhart, was released to widespread acclaim.

Content of the work.

The current course work includes four parts: introduction, the main part, conclusion and bibliography. It also consists of appendix where some interesting Internet materials, schemes were gathered. In the introduction part, we gave the short description of our course work and gave general notion of the theme. The basic part of our work includes several items. There we discussed what is the main target of writing satire and its usage by Buckley. We also analyzed one of satirical novels of the writer - “Thank you for smoking” and originality of other famous novels. Furthermore, we worked on the topic that how Christopher Buckley made an afford on satire and his position on politics and social science. In the conclusion to our present research paper we tried to draw some results from our analysis made within the main part of our course work. In the part of bibliography we mentioned more than 10 sources of which were used while compiling the present work . It consists of Internet materials, articles dealing with the theme.
