Images can be represented by a number of stylistic devices and comparisons: metaphors, similes, euphemisms, symbols, etc. “Tree” – a symbol of life. “Snake” – a symbol of evil. “Dove” – a symbol of peace; “The Sun” – a symbol of life, power and royalty; “Othello” – a symbol of love and jealousy. Myths are represented in the language by mythologemes. “Pandora’s box” (“a source of many unforeseen troubles”). According to the myth Zeus gave a box to Pandora with the instructions not to open it, but she gave in to her curiosity and opened it. As a result all the miseries, evils and diseases flew out to afflict the mankind.
