The plans describe transformations which have happened to a rural town since 1983 up to the present.

In general, the area has experienced significant developments in terms of its layout. Also, it has become more modern compared to how it looked in 1983.
Looking at the map in 1983, there used to be a forest on the north west part of the area, which has been taken down to make a way for housing along High Road. The school which was located just above the Main Road has been unchanged while at the beginning of the River May crossing along the middle of the area, a special dam has been constructed on the north of the town. A shop locating on the right side of the River May has been replaced by a more up-to-date supermarket.
Regarding below of the town, housing, police station, post office and windmill have remained in an original position whereas a farm was pulled down making a way for the construction of Petrol station and cafè on the corner of the Munster Road.
