2.1. FROM SYLLABUS DESIGN TO LESSON PLANNING.

2.1.1 FROM NATIONAL STANDARTS TO THE CLASSROOM

This chapter deals with the most useful issues which are very important for every teacher. Before It was so confusing to distinguish these words. What is syllabus and curriculum. After finishing this chapter I understood these words.

I think Every teacher should have a perfect curriculum and syllabus (which was made according to the state standards) in order to have a perfect lesson although they didn’t take part in the creation of them. It is not an easy thing to create or prepare a good lesson plan and of course without plan the teacher’s lesson will be complicated to conduct.

Teachers should pay attention to the level of learners and their desire in the sphere of learning. Every activity and techniques we want to use in the classrooms must be connected, effective and at the same time they should complement each other. So then the teacher could achieve his goal.

In my lessons, although the themes were not the thing my students wanted or desired I always try to prepare handouts linking to the theme. I teach language aspects. In the syllabus some given words are not suitable for some learners so I prepare extra handouts for them in order to work successfully. But sometimes I can see that some themes are not interesting or relevant for them in this cases I try to cover or include helpful vocabulary exercises.

I think my lesson that I had which I mentioned in Homework Task 1 was designed just right according to the curriculum and syllabus and it suitable to state standards
