Our regrets - scene three: I believe during and right after this event takes place there will be much weeping and tears will be flowing in abundance. Those who received no reward will have many tears of sorrow and maybe some of surprise. Even those who have received rewards will no doubt wish they did more. This should cause us to take seriously the things of God and be conscious of our testimony. We need to strive to live for him with our whole heart. Joshua 14:14 "Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel."

  • Our resolve - scene four: What will happen to you at the judgment seat of Christ? Does that thought grip you? If not, it definitely should. We should live in such a way now that we will be rewarded then. This is a thought that I am consumed with and I do not want to have all my works be burned up. I would like to give a few suggestions of things we need to do now in order to put us in a better position then.

    • Our purification: We need to have a tender heart and guard what comes into our heart. Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." Confess sin immediately when you realize you have done wrong. Never justify you sin but repent of it.

    • Our prevention: We need to set up godly standards that will keep us from going down the wrong path and being in compromising situations. 1 Thessalonians 5:22 "Abstain from all appearance of evil."

    • Our principles: Make decissions based on the Word of God. Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."

    • Our passion: We should be motivated to serve God because we love him and want to glorify him. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (14) "For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: (15) And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again."

    1. The Attesters: Act Five

    1. The ministry - scene one: The two witnesses will give out the gospel and stand for truth in the first 1260 days (3 and 1/2 years) of the tribulation. I believe these men will be Elijah and Enoch. Their headquarters will be in Jerusalem and they will be active near the third temple.

    2. The message - scene two: To preach the gospel of Christ. I believe that 144,000 Jews that will be witnesses of the gospel will be saved in the first few months of tribulation. I believe 144,000 will be saved as a result of the ministry of these two witnesses. The confusion after the rapture and the appearance of Elijah and Enoch preaching with great power will have an incredible impact on people. These men will be saved, radically changed and submissive to the call of God on their life. People will be looking for answers and the only two men who will know the truth at first will the two witnesses.

    3. The multitude - scene three: A great number of people will be saved during the tribulation. This is exciting time of evangelism and the fires of revival will burn during this time. This will include people from every nation and people group around the world. Revelation 7:9 "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;" Though we do not know the number I believe it could easily be in the millions. If 1% of the population that exists at the start of the tribulation gets saved that will be over 70 million people. It would not surprise me if the numbers are as high as 10% which would mean over 700 million people would be saved. I think during the first year there could be an average of 250,000 to 1 million people saved per day. This will be the greatest harvest of souls in the history of mankind.

    4. The mission - scene four: Reaching souls before it is too late. I believe the vast majority of people will be saved during the first half of the tribulation. Consider that at least half of the population (3.5 to 4 billion people) will die during this time. The death of the two witnesses will be at the midpoint of the tribulation. The antichrist will declare himself to be god and the mark of the beast will be mandated in the second half of the tribulation. Many souls will be deceived and take this mark and thus will have no hope of salvation. Revelation 14:11 "And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name." I believe the hardness of human hearts will be much higher in the second half of the tribulation. The celebration of the death of the two witnesses and the general acceptance of the antichrist will manifest this. Sin will abound greatly and the hearts of men will grow cold very quickly. Matthew 24:8-12 (8) "All these are the beginning of sorrows. (9) Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. (10) And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. (11) And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. (12) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." It would be great if we were to see a great harvest of souls come before the rapture happens. We need to get busy.

    1. The Announcement: Act Six

    1. The union - scene one: Between the groom which is the Lord Jesus Christ and the bride which is the church. Revelation 19:7 "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready."

    2. The unity - scene two: Will be perfect. For the Lord Jesus is perfect and now the church has their glorified bodies and are in perfect harmony with each other. 1 John 3:2-3 (2) "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. (3) And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."

    1. The Agony: Act Seven

    1. The great fighting: scene one: The antichrist will lead a large scale war in Revelation 6 to expand his empire. His diplomacy will get many to follow him, but not all. I believe about a year after the tribulation starts the antichrist will go on the war path. "And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." Revelation 6:8-9

    2. The great fatalities- scene two: Twenty-five percent of the population will be destroyed. Based on current figures of 7 billion plus, that would be 1.75 billion people. With the rate the population is growing and if the Lord tarries a few years the population could reach 8 billion, meaning 2 million people would be killed. To try to picture this in your mind it would mean every person in America, Canada and Mexico would die 4 to 5 times. It would be more than double the population of countries in North, South and Central America. This is just one of the wars.

    3. The great fallout - scene three: Nuclear fallout and natural disasters will cause much, disease, sickness and destruction. One third of the ships shall be destroyed. This will bring an extremely high death tolls. Consider the following facts to help give you an idea. Currently we have over 40,000 commercial and merchant ships registered in 143 countries. There are more than 9,000 naval ships from  50 different countries, and a host of unknown amount of large private vessels.

    4. The giant famine - scene four: Because of the war, disease and natural disasters there will be food shortages and starvation. Inflation will sky rocket and many people will not be able to afford to feed themselves or their families. Because of this many people will die. This utopian society never materialized. Satan always makes empty promises that he cannot keep. Though he has total control of things for a short time he cannot deliver what he promised. John 8:44 "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."

    5. The gory fact - scene five: In Revelation 8 and 9 we see another war that will take place. In this bloody battle one third of the remaining population will die in this war. Revelation 9:15 "And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men." This will be another 1.75 to 2 billion people. In the first part of the tribulation 3.5 to 4 billion people will die from 2 wars. Only the Lord Jesus Christ can be peace to this world and those that rejected him will regret it for all eternity.

    1. The Anarchy: Act Eight

    1. The great rebellion - scene one: The devil and his wicked followers attack God. Revelation 12:7 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels," This attack on God shows how hard hearted and evil they are. Not to mention it shows how stupid and blind they are to fight against God. Like Cain who was wicked and got mad at God because he did not do things his way or condone his evil false religion. Genesis 4:5-6 (5) "But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. (6) And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?" Just like the wicked Cain slew the righteous Abel, this wicked group will seek to do the same on a much larger scale.

    2. The grand result - scene two: The devil loses this battle like he has every other battle that he has fought with God. Revelation 12:8 "And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven." The godly army wins a great victory. What a blessing to know as Christians that we are on the winning side. When you know Jesus as your savior you need never fear the future.

    3. The godly rejection - scene three: Satan and his forces were cast out of heaven to the earth. Revelation 12:9 "And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." This event happens at the midpoint of the tribulation period. God is triumphant and he is glorified in this victory and his arch enemy will be humiliated in great defeat.

    1. The Antichrist: Act Nine

    1. The purging - scene one: The devil will be cast out of heaven to earth. He will be then begin an unprecedented reign of unholy terror. Revelation 12:12 "Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."

    2. The possession - scene two: Satan will totally possess the antichrist. Cast down to earth he will embody his top man and that is the antichrist. Just like he entered into Judas and possessed him he will do to the antichrist. Luke 22:3 "Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve."

    3. The promise - scene three: He will break his covenant with the Jews and he will stop the sacrifices in the temple. Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. The devil has no honor and is a liar. He will not only break his promise, but reverse his position from protection to persecution.

    4. The proclamation: scene four: The antichrist will go into the temple and declare himself god and desecrate the temple. 2 Thessalonias 2:3-4 (3)"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

    5. The pressure - scene five: At this time the mark of the beast will be introduced. Revelation 13:17 "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." He will be seeking to control every person on this earth. This will a horrible time on earth and those who do not submit to his evil will suffer his wrath.

    6. The protest - scene six: The two witnesses will protest this and preach against it. These are fearless men of great courage and have a godly spirit. They will refuse to compromise and will expose this evil for what it is. Elijah will confront the antichrist just like he did the wicked Ahab. 1 Kings 18:17-18 (17) "And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel? (18) And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father's house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim." Enoch will also preach with great courage against this evil. Both men know the plan of God and will fully expose this man of sin. Then the antichrist in his rage will kill the two witnesses in Jerusalem.

    7. The party - scene seven: The dead bodies of the two witnesses will be in the streets 3 and 1/2 days and people will give gifts and celebrate. This will be an unholy celebration and will be the opposite of the true meaning of Christmas. God will break up their wicked celebration bring the two witnesses back to life and then take them home to heaven.

    8. The parting - scene eight: God will end their celebration and resurrect these men of God and take them home to heaven. Revelation 11:11-12 (11) "And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. (12) And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them." Could you imagine the look on people's faces in Jerusalem and around the world as they witness this great event.

    9. The persecution - scene nine: The antichrist being fully controlled by Satan will launch an all out attack against the Jews. Revelation 12:13 "And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child." Sadly two thirds of the Jews left will be killed by the antichrist as he seeks to destroy them off the face of the earth. All throughout the ages Satan has tried to do this through wicked men like Haman, Hitler and now he is taking matters into his own hand s to try to finish this job himself. God's promise to the Jews is still valid and God will be faithful to keep his word. Genesis 12:3 "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

    1. The Armageddon: Act Ten

    1. The attack - scene one: From the east the army will invade and destroy his capital of Babylon while he is in Armageddon with his armies. (Jeremiah 50:31, Revelation 18). Most likely Babylon will not be in its ancient location which is in modern day Iraq. There are two main reasons consider Isaiah 13:17-20 "(17) Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. (18) Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children. (19) And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (20) It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there." Wherever it will be rebuilt, it will not be in the ancient site, this scripture makes that clear. Revelation 17:5 talks about "mystery" Babylon which indicates it is symbolic of that place. I believe according to Revelation 17:9 it will be the city of Rome "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth." Rome is known as the city of seven hills. This would be the capital for the antichrist during the tribulation.

    2. The advance - scene two: The antichrist will choose to attack Jerusalem instead of protecting Rome. The antichrist possessed by Satan himself is totally obsessed with the destruction of the Jews. Though this strategy will not make sense to a student war it will highlight his obsession with destroying the Jews. There will be great loss of life and Jerusalem will fall. The remnant will flee Jerusalem.

    3. The animosity - scene three: The antichrist moves south against the remnant. He will seek to kill the Jews that have escaped to the outlying areas. Jeremiah 49:13-14 "(13) For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes. (14) I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather ye together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle."

    4. The acknowledgement - scene four: The remnant will humble themselves before God and admit their sin. They will no longer make excuses, but they will get their heart right with God. The one third left will turn to Jesus when the forces of the antichrist close in on them. (Jeremiah 3:11-18)

    5. The appeal - scene five: To Jesus for help. They will have no other hope. After they have confessed their sin they will cry out for the savior and he will answer and return to their rescue. (Jude v.14-15) (Revelation 19:11-16) This will be a great dramatic scene as the King of Kings comes in at the last minute to rescue the remnant of Jews from total destruction.

    1. The Arrival: Act Eleven

    1. A time of revealing - scene one: Everyone in the entire earth will see him. Revelation 1:7 "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." He will come in power and glory.

    2. A time of rescue - scene two: Jesus will save the Jews from destruction by the antichrist. The many crowns show his victory over the kings of the earth. Revelation 19:12 "and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself." It was a common custom for in Bible times to take the crown of a king when you defeated him in battle.

    3. A time of retribution - scene two: Jesus defeats the enemy and there is great bloodshed that has never been seen before. Revelation 14:20 "And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs." The picture is the winepress that squeezes all the juice out of the grapes. Here the enemies of the Lord shall have every last drop of blood squeezed from their bodies. This represents God's divine judgment.

    1. The Arrangement: Act Twelve

    1. The sinners - scene one: Those who rejected Christ during the tribulation will be here and they will be the goats.

    2. The saints - scene two: Those who were saved and lived through the tribulation. There will also be the third resurrection of the just here which will include the saints who were martyred during the tribulation and the old testament saints. These will be the sheep.

    3. The separation - scene three: The goats and the sheep will be separated from each other at this time. Matthew 25:33 "And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left." The only thing that matters when a person dies is what was their relationship to Jesus.

    4. The speeches - scene four: They will both hear different speeches because they are distinctively different people. The one point that makes the difference is their relationship to Jesus. The sheep will hear this Matthew 25:34 "Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:" The goats will hear this Matthew 25:41 "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"

    1. The Authority: Act Thirteen

    1. The time - scene one: It will be for 1,000 years just like the Bible says. Revelation 20:6 "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."

    2. The throne - scene two: Jesus shall rule and reign from Jerusalem from David's throne. Luke 1:32 "He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:" This will be a great day when this promise is fulfilled.

    3. The truth - scene three: Jesus will reign in full power. Revelation 19:15 "And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron." He will execute truth and justice perfectly. There will be no corruption of justice and this administration will be without scandal. Though he will rule with perfection the wicked heart of some men will not be satisfied.

    1. The Annihilation: Act Fourteen

    1. The release - scene one: Satan is set free from the bottomless pit for one last time. Revelation 20:7 "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison," One of the reasons for the time of great peace was Satan was not allowed to tempt and deceive the hearts of men and women.

    2. The recruits - scene two: Satan will go out and deceive people all over the world. He will try to gather an Army for his last stand against the God. This army I believe will number well over 100 million and could be close to 1 billion people. Some people think that the population could grow to 20 billion people. If that happens the army could easily be well over 15 billion. There will be a great population explosion during this time and sadly most will follow Satan to their own destruction in this final battle. Revelation 20:8 "And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea."
