There was a time when Latin played the role of an international language. Then it lost its importance and scientists started to think about creating a language that could be used for international communication. A number of languages were worked out, but probably the most widely known language is Esperanto. Several million people speak Esperanto, which is based on various European languages. However, it has never become really popular as an international language.

Uzbek.
Lotin tili xalqaro til sifatida o‘rin tutgan paytlar edi. Keyinchalik u o‘z kuchini yo‘qotganidan so‘ng, olimlar xalqaro til sifatida qo‘llanila oladigan tilni yaratish ustida bosh qotira boshlashdi. Ko‘pgina tillarda gaplashilmayotgan, Esperanto tili esa eng ko‘p foydalanilayotgan til edi. Esperanto tili bir necha Yevropa tillari asosidan yaratilgan bo‘lib, bir necha million kishilar bu tilde gaplashishar edilar. Shunga qaramasdan bu til haqiqatda xalqaro tildek mashhur bo’ldi.
