The QE2 The Queen Elizabeth 2, usually called the QE2, the most famous passenger ship in the world, has retired. It was an enormous floating hotel which could carry 2,000 passengers, and it had a staff of 950 running the ship and looking after the passengers. The ship had three restaurants, eight bars, a ladies' hairdresser and a the barber's shop. In addition there were four swimming pools, two cinemas, a casino, two libraries, a hospital, a bank and a gymnasium: There were also some shops but there were no cars, buses or trucks.
