The theme of the lesson: “Parts of the body”.
The methods: VAK

The aims of the lesson:
To introduce or revise parts of the body for immediate use- head, shoulders, knees, toes
To develop extended listening skills through repetition and listening a song
To enable pupils to concentrate and understand the new vocabulary
To practice pronunciation of the new vocabulary
To develop cooperative songs and teach learners to work together and in groups
Time: 45 minutes
Preparation: Teacher sticks pictures to the different parts of the classroom, prepare type-recorder.
Procedure of the lesson:
Greeting (1 min):
T: Good morning children!
P: Good morning our teacher!
T: How are you?
P: We are good! And you?
T: I am ok, thank you too!
Organization moment (2 min):
T:Who is on duty today?
P: Kamila is on duty today!
T: Well Kamila, who is absent today?
P: Everybody is here.
T: What date is it today?
P: Today is the 20th of February
T: And what day is it today?
P: Today is Monday.
T: Ok, let’s begin our lesson!
Warming-up (4 min):
Checking homework (3 min):
T: Now, we will check your home task. What was your home task for today?
P: Our home task for today is to draw the missing parts of the robot’s head on the right hand page and learn a new vocabulary.
Teacher check how they coped with their homework then asks questions
Explanation of the theme (30 min) :
Our new theme is “Parts of the body”
Pre-listening task (3 min):
T: Today we will learn parts of the body. Now look at the blackboard you see pictures with parts of human body. Repeat after me these words – “Head! Hands! Knees! Legs! Feet! Toes! ”
Teacher shows the picture and names it.
Pupils repeat after the teacher.
T: Ok, now we will listen the “Bath” song.
While-listening task: (6 min):
T: Listen the song and then we’ll try to repeat this song and use body language.

T: Well, we listened the song and now we will repeat new words from this song and show by actions what about we are singing.
Pupils repeat words and act during singing.
Presentation. Pre-speaking task (3 min)
Pupils will repeat names, parts of body, with teacher’s helping by shown pictures.
Say that they learn the names of pars of the body. Pronounce the new words about parts of the body. you must listen attentively and repeat after me.
The teacher will ask to show picture: “What is this?”
(Legs, hand, toes, arm, knee….)
Pupils try to answer with a teacher’s helping:
“This is a…” (Hand, legs, toes, knees, arms)
Practice. While-speaking task. (6 min)
Explain about chain drill activity and distribute the pictures to pupils which they are going to show a picture and play saying name’s of the parts of the body with each other.
Production. Post-speaking task. (6 min)
In order to checking comprehension, revision learned new words. The teacher can use the game “What is the missing? “ Pupils should to add the missing words. Check his/her answer with their teacher.

Teacher gives marks to pupils for their work at home and on the lesson
