Each student claimed that they assessed their grammar knowledge by the ways,
as shown in table 5. Each of the way was marked from
‘a’ to ‘e’, where ‘a’ refers
to the top reason, while
‘e’ is for a low reason. More than the average number of
students (54%) considered that they could rate their grammar knowledge based
on the marks they gained, followed by judging their own performance. Friends
’
feedback and others
’ opinion are the least cited reasons to assess self-rating.
