It entails that teachers bring their learners to accept responsibility for their own
learning. A truly dialogic process entails joint exploration: teacher’s understanding
should grow along with that of their learners. If it does not, that is a sure sign that
teachers are standing outside the process, going through the motions rather than
engaging with their teaching in the way that they demand their learners should engage
with their learning.
