Examples of risks

If you are faced with a specific type of risk in connection with the features of your work, the nature of your business or a certain lifestyle, then you can say about you that you have a specific risk exposure.

For example, if you were hired temporarily, then your exposure to the risk of dismissal is very high.

If you are a full-time professor at one of the largest universities, your exposure to the risk of termination is relatively low.

If you are a farmer, then you are exposed to both the risk of crop failure and the risk of falling prices for them.

If your business is closely linked to the import or export of goods, you are at risk of adverse changes in foreign exchange rates.

If you have a home, you are at risk of fire, robbery, damage from a storm, an earthquake, and the risk that the market value of a home will decrease.
