ICT Digitalization Overview  

 

1.1. Background 

Uzbekistan LMIS Project reflects the promotion experience of Korea LMIS-Worknet and analyzes status 

of Uzbekistan e-Government. Result in e-Government and LMIS implementation roadmap establishment in 

central Asia as an ICT herb.  

 



 

Increased in Uzbekistan governments‘ interest for e-Government establishment

Director  General  of  Communications  and  Information  Agency  of  Uzbekistan;  Demand 

organization,  and  related  organizations  like  the  ministry  of  Foreign  affairs  and  trade,  the 

Ministry  of  Finance  are  highly  interested  in  Uzbekistan  informatization.  Furthermore, they 

emphasize necessity and urgency of project establishment.

ICT  development  mainly  reaches  national  ICT  development  program  facilitation  and  S/W 

industry development, and so on throughout the national ICT event 



 

Build  up  Uzbekistan  e-Government  supporting  program  through  Korea  e-Government  project 

experiences

Increasing  demand  regarding  Korea  e-Government  project  experiences  support  to 

international societies as the enhanced e-Government country.

Sharing with current informatization technology development, such as national, business and 

administrative  services  and  others  in  each  field  to  give  successful  e-Government  project 

experiences‘ relocation and initiation.  

 

1.2. Outline and Scope   

The purpose of this study is to make Uzbekistan LMIS blueprints which are based on Korea LMIS model, 

Worknet

, to improve Uzbekistan government department administrative services and to implement 

Uzbekistan LMIS successfully through the integrated resources management in the future.
