1.3. Expected Outcomes
Through the successful carrying out of the Project, it is expected to have the followings:
Having a good grasp of means to sharing the knowledge and capacity of government officials and
related staff of Bangladesh and Uzbekistan's in the area of Public Employment Service and Labor
Market Intelligence, by learning the policy, knowledge, and experience on the operation and mana
gement of the public employment service and labor market intelligence initiative in Korea. The sp
ecific conducting methods will include :
Technical advice and support to better align employment services to labor market needs and to stre
ngthen partnerships between public and private sector operators;

Technical advice to develop modern and ‗real time‘ labor market intelligence systems that can pro
vide timely information to job-seekers and also provide advance information to training institution
s to better prepare the skilled workers;
Sharing knowledge on how Korea has modernized and made its employment services more effecti
ve and efficient;
Sharing knowledge on how Korea is using new technologies to enhance the quality of labor marke
t information systems and career guidance services and the use of big data, particularly to serve the
young populations;
Sharing knowledge on employment services at provincial and local levels, while at the same time
making national and global information available to trainees;
Sharing knowledge on mechanisms for partnering with the private sector and to strengthen linkage
s of public employment exchanges with small and medium enterprises in addition to larger enterpr
ises;
Technical support and guidance through visioning workshops and capacity development plans for
enabling a well-functioning and dynamic public employment exchanges;
Provide inputs to carry out labor market surveys using modern techniques and tools.
Also, the assignment will enhance knowledge and capacity of government officials and related agency staff
of selected DMCs in the areas of PES and LMI. The DMCs proposed are Uzbekistan for public
employment service reform and Bangladesh for labor market intelligence system.
