Abstract : The study of this topic analyzes the interest of European scholars in Asian and Muslim architecture, and 

the  results  of  the  study.  Emphasis  is  also  placed  on  the  study  of  scientific  works  and  articles  of  European 

researchers as literature, which provides an opportunity to analyze the formation of attitudes towards the East and 

the dynamics of change over time. The analysis of the literature also aims to show that the history of monuments in 

Uzbekistan has been studied with great interest in European countries, as well as what the objects of study are. The 

choice of the Timurid period in the study of historical monuments should also serve the purpose of shedding light on 

the  attitudes  of  European  researchers  towards  the  prosperous  periods  of  Eastern  history. Along  with  the  political 

and military history, the history of monuments and the study of architectural culture as a separate subject is also 

important. Since this research is the first of its kind, errors can occur
