Attendance

Regular attendance is essential as well as important in terms of course quality due to interactive classroom activities.

Midterm and final exams

Midterm and final exams will be in short answers and essay format, take home and open book with a limited time of 48 hours to complete. When answering questions, information about the course content should be presented in an analytical form. In addition to the principles of good composition, definitions of key terms should be presented, the main issues should be explained and the question should be answered. Answers must be persuasively defended.

Quizzes
A total of 4 quizzes will be organized on the topics covered in the course, each of which will be 5%. The aim is to encourage regular participation in the course.


Group projects (topics will be determined)
Students will research the ‘start-up’ story of a well-known company in their own interest related to the subject of the course and present it in English with groups of 4-5 people to form their own. Presentations should take approximately 15 minutes and 5 minutes will be devoted to the question and answer. The goal is to encourage teamwork and research. Students can also chose to research the challenges faced by entrepreneurs (Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Arianna Huffington, Bill Gates, Hüsnü Özyeğin, Prof.Dr. Ihsan Doğramacı, etc.). A written report in English summarizing his biography and analyzing his success story. Specifically examine the main challenges and reasons for success and key features of the entrepreneur analytically, such as risk management, team work. Reports must be at least 4, at most 6 pages long (no longer reports will be accepted), 12 fonts, Times New Roman, double line spacing.
