IV. Why this course ?
In order to develop high yielding mulberry varieties for different situations, genetic
principles and different advanced breeding methods are highly essential. In order
to improve mulberry genetically, use of suitable germplasm and conventional
methods and non-conventional methods of breeding are useful to meet the current
needs. Hence this course.
V. Aim of the course
To make the students to get acquainted with advances in genetics, Cytogenetics
