- What season is it now? - It is spring now.

-What is the weather like today? - The weather is warm and sunny.



The main part of the lesson

Grammar Exercise 1. Make comparative sentences with ’hoped’, ‘expected’ and ‘thought’.

1. Tashkent is bigger than I thought. Edinburgh is not as big as I thought.

2. These biscuits are more delicious than I expected.

3. My homework is not more difficult than I thought.

4. My father is stronger than I thought. 5. I am taller than I thought.

6. My mother is younger than I thought.

7. The weather is not better than I hoped.

I’m having a great time here in Florida. Florida’s called the “ Sunshine State” because the weather’s warm all year round . It’s a beautiful place . The beaches are great . I go swimming every day. Yesterday I visited the EPCOT Centre in Disney World . It’s an amazing place. You can see the life of the future there. They have everything – even food and transport of the future! Then I went on a train around Disney World. It’s a fantastic! I was in a fairy tale country. I miss you and want you to be here too.
