Since I had an idea of life and career development of adults I was passionate to learn about my future profession – Lawyer! I was absolutely sure that this career is very prospective and important in each and every society because holders of this career often find themselves in the middle of assuring true and fairness of organizations’ activities which is inseparable from developing the effective regulation of public relations. However, during my studying years in University of World Economy and Diplomacy I found myself not ambitious enough. I thought that being a lawyer in national sphere could not possibly enable me the life and opportunities I intend to have. So I decided to enhance my horizon studying public administration. Because it presumably helps me to be an active person. The one who can give his maximum part for the development of Uzbekistan, the one who is always in the center of the discussion, the one who makes decisions and one who lives thinking other people’s issues, not the one in back office. That reason made me apply for the Public administration program in Dong-A University. Dong-A University has a great history and reputation. Because it is usually ranked as one of the most excellent universities of the Korea Republic meaning the education infrastructure is organized very well. I looked through the curriculum of the program and I think the curriculum will bring me enormous benefits. Listed courses can be of a great value in my future career. Because I’m sure that the availability to study multiple courses which are taught by outstanding professors will help me to go deeper in public administration and to interact and exchange ideas with academic staff and students.
Now the question arises, “Why Korea?” Reading the books, watching the news, analyzing and observing the people of Korea, I am really impressed by the way these individuals have proved themselves to be dedicated to their work and with true efforts they have set Korea as a successful example for developed countries. The outstanding growth of Korean economy, the great advancements of technology, the highly ranked education system which has a high reputation all around the world and well-organized government policy make a great aspiration to the students and professionals for the better career perspectives. Thus, such kind of positivity has boosted my confidence further and I am highly satisfied with the decision I have taken. My family also fully supports my choice for Korea being my preference for graduate studies. Improving my Korean intensively, learning deeply the Korean culture, analyzing and observing the growth of Korean economy and development of all spheres of Korea are very important for my career. Because, even today the excellent relations between Korea Republic and Uzbekistan are being performed and I would like to give my part to enhancement of these relations. Furthermore, enhancing deep relations with Korea Republic definitely helps to improve the current state of social life. Although I would like to study public administration in Korea, my future ambition towards profession has not been changed. I still want to be professional lawyer and during my study time in Korea I am going to invest some amount of my time learning the Korean practice of law making and appliance. From my observations, law making and implementing practice of Korea Republic is similar to that of Uzbekistan to a certain extent Uzbekistan has recently. Truth be told, I am the member of the family of scholars. My mother and father were teachers and they always explain the need of improvement in certain areas in law. Nowadays I really intend to give my part to development of area in my country. I planned my 10-year-goal in my childhood. Learning all the subjects in school, college and university as far as I could under quarantine conditions, taking IELTS examination (8.0 band score) and pursue my master’s degree abroad. Most part of the plan accomplished. Now time to realize the final phase of the plan – studying the master’s degree abroad. I am looking forward to give it a go and I will try my best to earn my degree because I am very confident in my career goals!
