Standard bidding document

Compensation Events are those defined in GCC 35.4 hereunder.

Completion Date is the date of completion of the Works as certified by the Employer.

Contract is the Contract between the Employer and the Contractor to design, execute, complete, and maintain the Works. It consists of the documents listed in GCC 2.3 below.

Contractor is the party whose Bid to carry out the Works has been accepted by the Employer.

Contractor’s Representative means the person named by the Contractor in the Contract or appointed from time to time by the Contractor under Clause 12. [Contractor’s Representative], who acts on behalf of the Contractor.

Contractor’s Personnel means the Contractor’s Representative and all personnel whom the Contractor utilises on Site, who may include the staff, labour and other employees of the Contractor and of each Subcontractor; and any other personnel assisting the Contractor in the execution of the Works.
