include units of the general language (i.e. syntax, morphology, and a part of the
lexicon used by the majority of speakers of a language) and the subcode that is
characteristic of the subject field itself and that contains the specific terminology of
the given subject field whose understanding and correct use is the basis of specialized
dictionaries.
