Shopping alone or with your best friend – which is better?

Going it alone may have a whole load of advantages, but there has to be a downside, right? Sometimes, it’s no fun heading to the mall by yourself and doing the whole shopping shebang. Here are some of the disadvantages to shopping solo:

1.  There’s no one to chat with.

Your shopping may be getting done super fast, but who can you tell about it? Now and then, it’s nice to have a good, old-fashioned chinwag with your bestie. Talking to the sales assistants just isn’t the same… and you know it.

2.  You might get a little lonely.

Building on that, you may find that you get a tad lonely when you’re heading from store to store. Even the most independent of us need company now and then. While you might think that you want to go alone, it could turn out that it would have been better with a friend.

3.  You have to do everything yourself.

Perhaps the greatest disadvantage to going shopping by yourself is that you also have to do everything yourself. From finding the right size in store to looking for the styles that suit you, it’s all completely down to you. No one is there to hold your hand.
Needless to say, there are advantages and disadvantages to both shopping alone and heading to the mall with your bestie. Which you choose depends on how you’re feeling and what type of shopping experience you’re after. For those quick shopping days, you may be best going it alone, while for a leisurely day out, you’re probably going to want your bestie right by your side.
