THE NEED FOR HUMANITARIAN KNOWLEDGE ON THE PROCESS OF FORMATION OF THE YOUNG ENGINEER

Abstract. The article emphasizes the importance of teaching social and humanitarian subjects to students of technical universities. Future engineers cannot solve technical problems without taking into account humanistic aspects, in particular environmental problems, physical and mental well-being of a person. One of the urgent problems facing technical universities, which is rapidly developing in the field of science and technology, is the training of highly qualified specialists who are able to withstand the most serious competition in the labor market.
