Apple Trees (Malus domestica)

An order consists of one Honeycrisp and one Nittany apple tree. The trees are bare root whips which are approximately 4’ to 5’ tall and ½” to ¾” in diameter. Both varieties are well suited to the back yard grower. Honeycrisp is a crisp, juicy, sweet-tart apple. Nittany is a York Imperial-type apple, good eaten fresh or a great baking apple.

Peach Trees (Prunus persica)

An order consists of one Red haven and one Contender Peach tree. The trees are vigorous, hardy and productive. Trees produce delicious fruits within a few years. Trees are standard size but can be trimmed to desired height.

Plum Trees (Prunus)

An order consists of one Queen Rosa and one Black Ruby Plum tree. These plum trees are of the Japanese variety. The Queen Rosa has dark-red purple skin with red flesh. The Black Ruby has reddish black skin with yellow flesh. Sold in pairs for adequate cross pollination.

Blueberry Bushes (Vaccinium)

An order consists of one Elliot & one Bluecrop blueberry bush obtained from a local berry farm. Plants are of bearing age and with care, will develop large flavorful berries. Select a sunny, well-drained site with sandy or loamy soil. You may need to add soil amendments. Sold in pairs to provide cross-species pollination.

Black Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia fulgida)

Height and spread is 2’ -2½’. Has exceptionally bright golden flowers and easily reseeds. Seeds attract wild birds and a favorite of wild turkeys. Spectacular in mass plantings.

Fraser Fir (Abies fraseri)

Sold in bundles of 5. Grows 40’-60’ in height with a spread of 20’-25’. Very soft, shiny, dark green foliage is silver on the underside. Likes cool, moist, well-drained soil. Will not do well in heavy, wet, clay soil. Does not require full sun. The best Christmas Tree.

Emerald Green Pyramidal Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis)

Pyramidal plant growing 10’-15’ in height with a 3’-4’ spread. Has a bright emerald green color all year, does not discolor in winter. Very compact. Space 2’-3’ apart for windbreak or visual barrier.

White Oak (Quercus alba)

Sold in bundles of 5. Grows 50’-80’ in height and as wide. Grows best in deep, loamy well drained soil. A good tolerance of highway salt. The most prolific lumber oak of the Northern Hemisphere.

Strawberry Plants (Fragaria)

An order consists of 25 strawberry vine plugs. The flavorful variety is “Tristar” which is a late season ever-bearing strawberry. A good cropper.

Grapes (seedless) (Vitis vinifera)
|
An order consists of one Canadice and one Lakemont seedless grape plants ranging in size from 12”-18”. Canadice is a red grape that has sweet, medium sized firm berries. Lakemont is a white grape with good vine vigor and productivity.
