I. Organizationalmoment:

a) greeting: T: Good morning, pupils!

P: Good morning, teacher!

We are glad to see you!

b) report of the duty:

T: Who is on duty today?

P: I am a duty today.

T: Who is absent today?

P: All are present.

c) Warm-up questions:

T: What day is it today?

T: What date is it today?

T: What season is it now?

T: What is the weather like today?

T: What is the name of the year?

T: Which of our great forefather’s birthday coming?

T: What was our last theme and homework?

II. New theme:

Dear pupils, who can tell me? How many seasons are there in a year?



What is the weather of seasons?

Today we have guests, they are seasons. Let’s invite them.

P: I am Winter. December, January and February are winter months. The weather is cold in winter. It snows in winter. The days

are short and nights are long. The streets, the trees and the fields are white with snow.

P: I am Spring. March, April and May are spring months. It is cool warm inSpring. The weather is fine .You can see flowers in the fields, streets. The trees is green. I like spring very much.

P: I am Summer. June, July and August are summer months. It’s hot in summer. The weather is fine. The days are long and the nights are short. The fields and trees are green. There are many flowers in the fields.

P: I am Autumn. September, October and November are autumn months. It is cool in autumn. The weather is bad. It usually rains in autumn. The trees are yellow and red. In autumn children go to school.

T: Do you know poems about seasons?

Winter.

It’s Winter now, so bundle up tight!

Warm mittens and cap will be just right.

Ice on lake, snow on the ground.

Time to ski and skate all around,

Winter, Spring, Summer, fall -

I like winter best of all.

Spring.

Spring is here,

Summer is near,

Grass is green,

So nice and clean.

Winter, Spring, Summer fall –

I like Spring best of all.

Summer.

The Summer sun shine hot and high

Baby birds now learn to fly.

Green, green leaves and tasty fruit

All the things are so good!

Put on your jacket and jeans for fall

Now it’s cold to play football!

Leaves tern orange, red and drown,

And they all are falling down.
