Umumiy o’rta ta’lim maktablarida xalq og’zaki ijodining qadimiy durdonasi
bo’lgan ertaklar asosan, 5-6-sinf adabiyot darslarida o’qitiladi. Ertak o’quvchilar
tomonidan qiziqib o’qilishining sabablaridan biri, ertak tilining soddaligi, ta’sirchanligi,
ma’nodorligi va xalq tiliga yaqinligidir.
