SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER IN THE ENVIROMENT OF 
KINDERGARTEN IN SLOVAKIA 
 
Abstract. In the presented article, we analyze at the same time the position of a special 
education teacher within pre-primary education, which is a new pedagogical element 
of the kindergarten environment. Its integration into kindergartens took place through 
legislative reforms and the implementation of the National Projects of the Slovak 
Republic focused on inclusive education in kindergartens.
