Participation of Uzbekistan in the Turkic Council fully meets the fundamental 
interests of Uzbek people. Today, not only cultural and spiritual ties, but also trade and 
economic relations have reached a new level. Over the past years, the trade turnover 
between Turkic countries has almost doubled. More than a thousand joint ventures have 
been created. The transport connection is expanding, the number of visa-free tourist trips 
is growing, and the bonds of brotherhood of Turkic people are strengthening. 
In conclusion, the accession of Uzbekistan, one of the largest countries in Central 
Asia, to the family of Turkic-speaking countries will take the Council's activities to a new 
level, increasing its weight and importance in the region and the world. It is also 
emphasized that this event is an important event in strengthening the unity and solidarity 
of the Turkic-speaking countries.
