ONCLUSION
In accordance with the communicative approach to teaching a foreign language, it is necessary to take into account the features
of real communication, that is, it is assumed to master various speech functions. The teacher forms the student's ability to express
various communicative intentions: request, order, consent, invitation, refusal, advice, reproach, etc. The formation of
communicative competence occurs in situations as close to life as possible. These are situational dialogues "At the hotel", "At the
airport", "At the train station", "In the store", etc.
Many teachers when teaching a foreign language make a big mistake, adhering to the extreme point of view: they consider the
communication method in its purest form. This means that students are encouraged to express their own thoughts only in the way
they know how. Such teachers believe that the learning process should be based only on the content side and real communication,
while neglecting the work on the language form. Imagine that you are stopped on the street by a foreigner and say: "My little red
toy is beautiful how?" This is the action of the communication method in its purest form. After all, you understood him. At first,
you explain to him in the correct Uzbek language, but when you see a lack of understanding in his eyes, you descend to his level
and say: "You have to go there for five minutes." At the same time, you accompany your speech with active gestures. And how
much more pleasant would it be to hear: "Excuse me, how do I get to Red Square?”
There is no doubt that the communicative method is effective, as it allows a person to "unchain" their language, gain freedom of
communication, erase language barriers, overcome culture shock, and develop communication skills. But at the same time, it
should intelligently combine systematic and meaningful approaches, including both work on the form and on the content side of
speech. You cannot rely only on the knowledge of vocabulary, you need a command of the language system (knowledge of
grammar), without which communication cannot take place.
It is better from the very beginning of learning a language to be able to speak correctly, get used to comfort and enjoy yourself
and communication, than after a while, having experienced the ridicule and smiles of the interlocutors, to relearn and overcome the
fear of foreigners.
