THE EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE ENGLISH LESSONS

Modern medicine is developing very quickly. And this is one of those areas where
the exchange of knowledge and experience is of great importance. Students learn
professional vocabulary, expand their lexicon with medical terms, read original
literature in English.
This begs the question of the essence of learning English by medical students.The
answer is straightforward suggsting that knowledge of English can unlock myriad of
opportunities for students of medical universities like studying abroad, undergoing an
internship in foreign clinics, and working abroad to name a few. As a consequence,
medical English involves not only the development of general conversational skills,
but also the study of highly specialized lexical material and grammatical constructions.
Moreover, the task of a foreign language teacher is to ensure that students learn the
definitions and word forms of these terms and can masterly apply them in speech.
Learning professional terminology can prove particularly difficult for students
since the terms enter into different semantic relations in other words-terms and have
limited lexical compatibility,meaning that there are various ways of teaching
professional vocabulary of the English language.The main unit of information in
professionally oriented training is text. Working with authentic professionally oriented
texts in the specialty helps students to accumulate and systematize a lexical minimum
sufficient for the ability to work with professionally relevant information.
Working with terminological lexical material involves familiarization with new
words and terms, their primary consolidation, and, finally, the development of skills
and abilities to use new vocabulary in different types of speech activities and in various
communication situations.
The problem of studying physical terms in English can be solved by using
heterogeneous tasks for students with individually distinct perception of information,
by introducing an element of the game into the lesson at the stage of studying terms.
Psychologists say that there are no pure types, all of us are mixed, but some are more
expressed through separate channels of perception, so we came to the conclusion that
when studying and fixing the material, we should influence all channels of perception

and sometimes offer students tasks to choose from, which involve their most developed
channel of perception mote actively.
As a teacher I try to make sure the students have absorbed the material at an elite
llevel by considering their speech and pronunciation literacy. Furthermore,I personally
tend to study dental terms with them as I firmly believe that this could bring about
invaluable contribution to their further development especially facilitate the fulfillment
of their possible aspirations to study abroad,
Of course, certain dental problems have never brought pleasure to anyone. Maybe
for a ten-year-old hooligan or an "overgrown" punk, a knocked out or broken tooth
may be a reason for pride temporarily,indicating his superior position in a fight
However, in a few years it is highly likely to pose lots of risks and problems. Regardless
of gender and field of activity, an individual may start feeling shy of any defects in the
dentition. It should be noted that the core concern is not merely in any kinds of
inconvenience during the food consumption process or speech defects, but rather in
the indirect negative impact it may exert on one’s self-eteem due to the gaps in the
dentition.
In addition, the dynamics of our world and the basic ideas about human beauty
now imply the vitality of not only the presence of all teeth , but also their aesthetic
component in terms of an even location, snow-white color. and , most importantly,
one’s health. That is why modern dentistry sets the treatment of teeth as its salient
objective - regardless of the complexity of the problem and the volume of destruction,
teeth must always be preserved! By any means! This suggest that in case of that teeth
being lost t for one reason or another, then modern methods of implantation and
prosthetics will definitely help to restore it, regardless of the time length since its
removal. Thanks to the latest techniques, the clinic equipped with all the necessary
equipment can perform operations to restore bone tissue if it has resolved since the
tooth was removed.
Thus, today's technologies and techniques allow indiciduals to completely restore
lost teeth, and the appearance of prostheses, crowns and implants will not differ from
one’s own "native" teeth. The ability to install prostheses for a while, regardless of the
number of missing teeth, makes this procedure available for both adults and elderly
people, as well as for children for the period of bite change.
As I have already mentioned, the main task of dentistry today is to preserve the
teeth of each patient, regardless of one’s age. Importantly, back a few decades ago
doctors could offer to remove even perfectly healthy teeth, if they interfered with the
installation of a bridge structure or a chip prosthesis, today no one practices such
techniques anymore! Highly qualified specialists are ought to assess the condition of
the patient's oral cavity, if necessary, send him for an X-ray or tomographic
examination, and only after drawing certain conclusions, professionals can state the

expediency of this or that type of treatment.
In addition to the higher-quality and modern equipment that dental clinics have
today, the technologies of various treatment methods have also changed. Filling
materials are becoming more perfect, they look no different from the tone of natural
teeth, and with a high-quality installation, they are highly likely to easily stay in the
teeth for many years. Modern technologies allow for treatment of any complexity,
regardless of the degree of tooth destruction: if it is impossible to restore it with filling
materials, then a crown can be installed on it even if only the root remains of the tooth.
As for modern technologies in the restoration of removed teeth, dentistry has stepped
far ahead here: implantation allows dentists to completely restore lost teeth, and with
the help of new methods of prosthetics, they can eliminate any shortcomings of the
dentition. With the help of new braces, any malocclusion pathologies can be cured,
while older technologies could not guarantee such a result.
What can be said about the fact that "insufficiently" serious malocclusion
pathologies could be considered a norm, and they neglected them, trying to fix it except
in childhood. And, no less important: high-quality anesthesia! If literally thirty years
ago even tooth extraction was carried out without anesthesia, then today dentistry can
rightfully be recognized as "dentistry without pain" - high-quality anesthetics
completely relieve the painful sensations from any operations, whether it is tooth
filling, canal treatment or implant placement.
In conclusion if it had not been for the state of the art dentistry methodologies. It
would have not been possible to neither cure teeth diseases and oral cavity of any
levels of complexity nor to restore lost teeth, achieve percetly even dentition and snow-
white glow.
