GLOBAL PANDEMIC

• A pandemic is an epidemic of an infectious of an infectious disease that spread across a large region,for instance multiple continents or worldwide,affecting a substantial number of people.A widespread endemic disease with a stable number of people of infected people such as reccurences of seasonal influenza are generally excluded as they occur simultaneosly in large regions of the globe rather than being spread worldwide.

Members of the AMERICAN RED CROSS carry a body during the 1918-1920 “Spanish flu” pandemic which resulted in dramatic mortality rates worldwide.

Early in the COVID-19 pandemic,convention centers were deemed to be ideal sites for temporary hospitals,due to existing infrastructure .

As the world’s only truly universal global organization ,THE UNITED NATIONS has become the foremost forum to adress issues that transcend national boundaries and cannot be resolved by any one country acting alone.

To its initial goals of safeguarding peace,protecting human right, establishing the framework for inernational justice and promoting economic and social progress, in the seven decades since its reaction the United Nations has added on new challenges , such as climate change,refuges and AIDs.

While conflict resolution and peacekeeping continue to be among its most visible efforts,the UN ,along with itd specialized agencies , is also engaged in a wide array of activities to improve people’s lives around the world- from disaster relief ,through education and advancement of women to peaceful uses of atomic energy.

FOOD

About 795 million people in the world were undernourished in 2014-16.That means one in nine people do not get enough food to be healthy and lead an active life. Hunger and mulnutrition are in the fact the number one risk to health worldwide- greater than AIDs ,malaria and tuberculosis combined.

GENDER EQUALITY

Women and girls represent half of the world’s population and therefore also half of its ptential .Gender equality ,besides being a fundamental human right is essential to achieve peaceful socities with human potential and sustainable development.

MIGRATION

Since the earliest times, humanity has been on move.Today more people live in a country other than the one in which they were born.

OCEANS AND THE LAW OF THE SEA

Life itself arose from the oceans.the ocean is vast some 72 per cent of earth’s surface.Not only has the oceans always been prime source of nourishment for the life it helped generate , but from earliest recorded history it has served for trade and commerce,adventure and discovery.

WATER

Fresh water sustains human life and is a vital for human health.There is enough fresh water for everyone on Earth.However,due to bad economics or poor infrastructure, millions of people(most of them children) die from diseases associated with inadequate water supply,sanitation and hygiene.

YOUTH

As youth are increasingly demanding more just,equitable and progressive opportunities and solutions in their societies ,the need to adress the multififaceted challenges faced by young people(such as access to education,health,employment and gender equality) have become more pressing than ever.

Today,the human population is so large that effects of people on natural environment can be very powerful. In fact ,in many places the natural environment has been damaged or even destroyed by human activity and this a main issue to solve. Only damager of our nature is people.We never forget The Earth does not belong to us :we belong to the Earth. The nature gives everything for creatures and humans,so we have to accomplish simple activities like not soiling the places where we survive,not cutting down the trees,doing regular physical activities to live healthy life.
