Annotation. In the article the role and useful peculiarities of using songs and music in teaching english to adults and teenagers. The article clearifies big importance of music and songs in teaching.

It is a tradition to take music and songs asintegral parts of teaching and learning in early school days. Children learn different educational and cultural activities with the help of music effectively and there is significant emphasis on music in the kindergarten and primary schools. Children in the school used to idolize singers and worship dance and famous musical bands whereas adults simply listen for enjoyment or hobby.
When compared to youngsters, adults usually take a different ways in learning the second language. Their learning is more independent as well as self-directed. According to their greater experience and ability to absorb more, they bring more and anticipate bringing more to a learning scenario. They will not engage in a learning activity easily, because the teacher instructed them to; they need learning to "make sense" to them. Adult learners have very distinct needs from younger ones. Adults demand more explanation and the definition of ideas rather than as much demonstration to learning1. Music and songs are very important tools to learn the second language especially English and Russian for the young learners. A lot of children are kin on singing songs and tracks can be taught to any number of students and even those teachers with the most limited resources can utilize them effectively. One good side of using songs in the young learner classroom is their flexible atmosphere. Songs and musician bused for a large amount of purposes and there are many reasons why songs can be considered a valuable pedagogical tool. Songs can help young learners development their listening skills and spelling and pronunciation and also helping them to get their speaking skills higher. Songs can also be useful things in the learning of vocabulary, sentence structures syntactical views. It is probably that the greatest benefit to utilizing songs in the classroom is that they can be fun and adorable with colorful musical activities.
Songs provide students with practice listening to variety of forms of intonation and rhythm. English has a stress-timed rhythm, for which songs can help to establish a feeling. Songs can provide the chance for vocabulary and procedure practice. They are typically based around a theme or topic that can provide the context for vocabulary learning. the song named 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' if I cite an example could be used to review and learn body parts with actions easily , or the song I Can Sing a Rainbow could be beneficial for the review of colors with their names. Most children’s songs are characterized by monosyllabic words, many of which are frequently repeated. Many children's songs have a simple sentence structure or sentence pattern that can become set in the mind of the learner. Songs could be used to reinforce questions taught in the classroom. The songs named What a happy day, Where is Thumbing? Hello, What's Your Name?, and Who is Wearing Red? Might be useful for practicing WH-question forms, the phrase's length in a typical children’s song is short and often uses simple conversational language.
It is probably that the most obvious advantage to using songs and musical in the young learner classroom is that they are really advantageous as well as beneficial. Both children and adults enjoy singing and usually respond well to using songs in the classroom, however it is fact that there are more significant benefits in using songs rather than just being fun. Firstly, songs and music bring variety and colorful procedures to the everyday classroom routine. This variety stimulates interest and attention, which can help maintain classroom motivation, thereby helping learners to reach higher levels of achievement. Secondly, songs, in particular choral singing, can help to make a relaxation and informal atmosphere that makes the classroom a nonthreatening environment. By reducing anxiety, songs can help increase student interest and motivate them to learn the target language.
Students often think of songs as entertainment rather than study and therefore find learning English through songs fun and enjoyable.
