  Students must be prepared with required texts, workbooks, binders, notebooks, and pens/pencils.
  
• 
  Students must keep track of homework assignments. Homework is posted on the white board in the classroom for all subjects.
  
• 
  Students are to conduct themselves as young adults. Think before you speak. Are your comments helpful to others? How can you support each other in the lessons? Keep a clean desk and floor area. Own your mess and clean it up! Others will use your work space. Put things back where they belong and do not take what is not yours. Take pride in our beautiful school and campus.
  
• 
  Participation by all students makes our classes more interesting and helps me understand where more time is needed to master skills.
  
• 
  Academic integrity is a worthy virtue. Do your own work!! Do not ask to “borrow” someone else’s homework or ask someone for answers. If you don’t understand an assignment:
  
  • 
    Review your notes
    
  • 
    Use the internet at home to search for tutorials
    
  • 
    Ask parents or older siblings to help you figure it out
    
  • 
    See me as soon as possible if you are struggling with concepts or assignments (you can see me before school starts and after carpool line has concluded).

  If you are permitted to use an electronic device (iPad, tablet, cell phone) during a lesson you must only use the device as instructed by the teacher. Students caught texting, playing games, checking social media, taking photos, or using apps other than those used for the lesson may lose the opportunity to use the device in the future and may receive a detention.
  
  • 
    If a teacher calls for a “technology timeout” the device must immediately be placed upside down (or closed cover) on the desk in a place that is visible to the teacher. Failure to do this immediately will result in the loss of the device for the rest of the class period.
