Ability to recognize and interpret peculiarities of authentic professionally oriented discourses of various genres (books, articles, documents, laws, regulations etc.) within the framework of communicative settings based on the content of speech.

Can correct slips and errors if he/she becomes conscious of them or if they have led to misunderstandings.

Know non-equivalent professional lexis and understand it in texts (including with the help of reference books); recognize the lexis denoting job-related objects and subjects in the target countries; know speech and etiquette formulas and ability to construct language behavior in accordance with professional communication norms accepted in the target countries within the framework of communicative settings based on the content of speech.
