rounded edges
A common method used in renderings is adding rounded edges to corners. Street curbs, steps, 
table and chairs edges, and many furnishings and amenities do not have right-angled corners. 
In fact, it might be safe to say that in the real world, most objects with even 90-degree angles have 
soft, tapered edges. Most objects extrude in SketchUp with a 90-degree corner. Fortunately, 
adding rounded corners in SketchUp is easy.
The RoundCorner Ruby Script allows you to add a variety of soft, curved, and beveled edges 
to your model (Fig. 16.28, Fig. 16.29, Fig. 16.30, Fig. 16.31). RoundCorner is freely available 
from SketchUcation.

The Ruby Script menu has three options: Rounded Corners, Sharp Corners, and Bevel 
Edges. The simplest way to make this method work is as follows:
1. 
Select one of the three options.
2. 
Start with Rounded Corners.
3. 
In the Measurements box, simply enter the amount of roundness in units, and then 
select the edges you want to round. Select as many edges as needed.
4. 
Press the Enter key and the script will run, rounding all of the selected edges.
