Kobe Bryant was born on august 23, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was named after a japanese city. He was son of an former nba player Joe “Jellybean” Bryant. On January 26 together with his daughter Gianna and seven other people he died in an helicopter crash near Los Angeles on his weigh to Mamba Stadium.
