My University

Examinations were left behind, and with them went all the anxiety and excitement regarding the selection of a suitable institution. And finally , it is September 3 , and with a sinking heart , I go into the audience . I like to study here .Of course there are difficulties, but which without them ? A change of scenery , long pair of new teachers ... Sometimes I can not believe that I am now a student that studying at university , and this is not the school . I love my team , we can say that I had already managed to fall in love The girls are very friendly, sociable , cheerful. And together , I think we will overcome all difficulties. Study in university - a new step of my education , which I think is very important in my life , because in comparison with the school here on my shoulders lay more responsibility. All steps before graduating college, I hope to pass with dignity, because that's what it shows me a new perspective in life To summarize my days spent here, I can say this , that the first days of my studies are very interested in me and impressed me. There are many universities in Ufa. The head of a university is Rector. Usually there are several faculties in a university. Each faculty has a number of specialized departments and is headed by Dean The course of studies lasts 4-6 years.
The academic year in this country’s higher schools begins on the 1-st of September and is divided into two terms (semesters). Students take exams at the end of each semester. If the results of the examinations are good students get grants. Twice a year students have vacations – two weeks in winter and two months in summer.My university has several buildings, old and new ones. There are many various laboratories. There is a very good library and a computer centre in the main building.Every faculty has its own specialized library, laboratories, workshops and computer centres.The first- and second- year students study general engineering subjects, in the third year students begin to study specialized subjects.A very good tradition of our University is that theory is accompanied by practical training. Students begin to work at the University’s well-equipped laboratories and in senior years at various plants, design offices and research institutes of this country.It is interesting but difficult to study at our University, especially for the first-year students as they do not know yet how to organize their work and time.
