WAVERLY CITY COUNCIL MINUTES

The Waverly City Council met on Monday, October 15, 2007 in the Community Meeting Hall. The meeting started at 7:00 p.m. Present were Mayor Melbye, Council Members Brown, Forbes, Hestermann, and Sondgeroth. Other City Officials present were City Attorney Fahleson and Park/Recreation Director Mike Francis. Also present were Mike Werner, Vicki and Dave Lawson and two grandsons of George L. Lawson, and The News Reporter Peggy Brown.
Agenda items the Council took action on:

1. 
   Approved the minutes of the October 1, 2007 council meeting
   
2. 
   Introduced and passed Res. 07-18 naming the new park north of Oldfield Street the George L. Lawson Park
   
3. 
   Introduced and passed the second reading of Ord. 07-13 to amend Article Ten, Section 11.1002; definition of terms: Table 10.3; maximum permitted sign area for zone lot by zoning district: and Table 10.4; permitted signs by numbers, dimensions, and location

   Introduced and passed the second reading of Ord. 07-14 to annex Evandale Estates Fourth and Fifth Additions, and the south half of Bluff Road adjacent to Evandale Estates Fourth Addition

   Introduced and passed the second reading of Ord. 07-15 to annex all of Riley Subdivision and all of the Irregular Tracts 67, 71, 72, and 73, the right of way of Amberly Road adjacent to said Irregular Tracts 67, 71 and 72, and the right of way of said Amberly Road adjacent to said Irregular Tract 73 south of the north line of the of the south half of said Section 21 from the east right of way of North 145^th Street to the west and the right of way of North 148^th Street adjacent to said Irregular Tract 73 from said Amberly Road to the North right of way of Interstate 80

   Introduced and passed the second reading of Ord. 07-16 to annex all of Irregular Tracts 25 and 32, and the east half of North 148^th Street adjacent to said Irregular Tracts 25 and 32; Irregular Tracts 17 thru 21, and the west half of said North 148^th Street adjacent to said Irregular Tracts 18, 20 and 21 and the east half of 141^st Street located in the southwest quarter of said Section 9, and the east half of North 148^th Street; Irregular Tracts 88, 97, 137, 145, 148, 175, 179, 180, 182, 190, 191, 197 and 211 thru 218, Aspen Park 3^rd Addition, Anderson North Park Addition and Anderson North Park Addition Replat, a Replat of Lots 1-11, Block 6 and Lots 15 thru 25, Block 7 of Anderson North Park Addition and Lot 1, Block 9 of Anderson North Park Addition Replat and the south half of Waverly Road adjacent to Irregular Tracts 182 and 218, the east half of North 134^th Street adjacent to Irregular Tracts 175, 179, 180 and 182 and all of said North 141^st Street adjacent to Anderson North Park Addition and Irregular Tracts 88, 97, 137, 145, 190, 191, 212, 214 thru 216 and 218
